Astro Taxi Ltd. is seeking a skilled Taxi Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews.
Key Responsibilities- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to ensure efficient route planning and minimize delays.
- Assist with maintenance of communications equipment to ensure seamless communication between dispatchers and drivers.
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that our customers receive timely and reliable service.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work, including mileage, fuel use, and repairs.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
