Taxi Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Taxi Dispatcher to join our team at Sherwood Park Taxi. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general office duties, including maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Assist with maintenance of communications equipment, ensuring seamless communication with customers and drivers.
- Follow-up on issues with work orders, resolving any discrepancies or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain vehicle operator work records, including mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, providing a personalized touch to our service.
- Experience in a related field is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
