We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our team at TBD Architecture + Urban Planning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative architectural solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement architectural designs that meet client requirements and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage and coordinate technical activities in architecture and engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with town planning laws and environmental impact assessments.
- Conceptualize and design buildings, developing plans that describe design specifications, building materials, costs, and construction schedules.
- Prepare sketches and models to communicate design ideas.
- Perform architectural research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Membership in the Provincial Association of Architects.
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification offered by the Canada Green Building Council.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Experience in project coordination and architectural specialization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
