About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Investment Banking team at Skill Farm. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Regulatory team with various aspects of regulatory reporting, ensuring our operations remain compliant with internal policies, industry regulators, and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reporting Process Analysis: Review and analyze new business rule changes or system changes that impact reporting processes and perform associated testing.
  2. Regulatory Support: Support our Regulatory team with various aspects of regulatory reporting, including ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulators, and tax authorities.
  3. Reconciliation Support: Support our Reconciliations teams by working with our internal settlement teams and Canadian/Foreign banks to identify and resolve issues.
  4. Documentation Processing: Process regulatory documentation to support client onboarding and client outreach.

Required Skills:

  1. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical mindset and technical aptitude.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and query data with an inherent sense of ownership and initiative.
  3. Relationship Building: Proven relationship-building skills to create, maintain, and enhance relationships with internal and/or external partners.
