Ecommerce Business Analyst Job Description

The Ecommerce Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis and reporting for our e-commerce channel. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to derive insights from data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain e-commerce reporting, including sales, share, and marketing performance reports.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide insights to inform business strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely item-level shipment forecasts for Amazon.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting to support business evaluation and analysis.
  • Develop presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • University degree in business, economics, or mathematics.
  • Strong business communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Analytical and deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
  • Relevant business experience in business analysis, preferably in CPG and/or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency with reporting and forecasting tools, including MS Office.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel experience.
  • Familiarity with Retail Link and Amazon Vendor Central is an asset.
