About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Hardwall Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a strong and stable framework for our buildings.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring that our company remains competitive and profitable.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and structures, using your expertise to restore them to their former glory.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, often in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Be physically demanding, requiring manual labor and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
