About the Role

NORA VIVAS is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
