About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Marilou Cafa, Rodello Cafa. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Laundry
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to a high standard
    • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
    • Make beds and change sheets in a timely manner
    • Stock linen closets and ensure a sufficient supply of clean linens
    • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom appliances and fixtures
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Household Maintenance
    • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene tasks for our household members
    • Launder clothing and household linens
    • Mend clothing and linens as needed
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
    • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Organization and Time Management
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Non-smoking environment
    • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis

  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
    • Overtime required

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
