Key Responsibilities

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, your duties will include:

  • Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a varied fleet of construction machinery, including earth-moving and aerial equipment
  • Conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and executing necessary repairs
  • Testing repaired machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Keeping accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and service orders
  • Complying with all company health and safety regulations.

What You Bring to the Team

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of mechanical experience
  • Experience with construction machinery is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
  • Possession of a complete set of tools or actively working towards it
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Familiarity with computer applications and diagnostic tools, along with the ability to interpret schematics
  • Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts as needed
  • A strong sense of pride in your work
