DIVISION OVERVIEW:
Crown's Beverage Division specializes in producing a diverse range of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, teas, and emerging energy beverages. As a leader in the packaging sector, Crown Beverage is at the forefront of innovative technologies that transform perceptions of beverage cans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute all responsibilities associated with the electrician role.
- Analyze various electronic circuits, wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings to inspect, install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, overhaul, modify, or service all types of electronic devices and systems.
- Plan detailed working procedures for equipment to assess material or replacement needs and select a systematic approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Create sketches of components and layouts; design and construct adaptations or modifications of component parts.
- Disassemble, inspect, adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and wiring, and reassemble all types of electronic devices. Perform mechanical repairs as necessary.
- Inspect, test, and adjust electronic equipment to ensure safe and proper functionality.
- Conduct work requiring comprehensive knowledge of electronic and electrical principles, wiring specifications, material properties, and equipment operation.
- Prepare ladder diagrams for programmable control systems, including various manufacturers.
- Maintain accurate records of existing electrical drawings or create sketches of modifications made during job performance, promptly notifying supervisors of any changes.
- Ensure the organization and neatness of electrical drawing files.
- Replace faulty electrical components in machinery, such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pressco camera systems.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and tests, utilizing computer systems for information storage and retrieval.
- Document daily activities in the shop log book.
- Report any signs of potential safety hazards or downtime due to electrical equipment issues to supervisors.
- Secure designated electrical cabinets as necessary.
- Notify production supervisors upon job completion to allow for equipment operation resumption.
- Start up, monitor, and shut down all apparatus room equipment as licensed.
- Initiate and terminate gas-fired ovens when requested.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Ensure proper use and placement of all safety equipment, devices, and guards at all times, adhering to safe working procedures and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment and strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
