About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our TAM Expansion team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient microservices that power our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices using DevOps practices, pair programming, and other modern development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Act as an ambassador for software solutions, providing support and mentorship to colleagues and driving technical excellence within the team.
Requirements
  • Strong engineering and architecture experience interfacing with backend APIs and microservices, with a proven track record of building out end-to-end platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience developing in JavaScript, with a minimum of 3 years of deploying live applications in ReactJS or NodeJS.
  • Deep knowledge of web development best practices, including web design patterns, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.
  • Proven ability to present technical ideas to a wide range of audiences, including senior and product leadership.
  • Bonus: Past experience building complex consumer-facing e-commerce storefronts, powered by either 3rd-party platforms or built fully in-house.
