Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Jino Jose. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Household Chores: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work independently with attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, physically demanding, and handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
