Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Jino Jose. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Organization: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) or between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
