Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

Piller's Fine Foods is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with attention to detail and safety.
  • Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers efficiently.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, ensuring smooth production flow.
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, maintaining high standards.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, promoting teamwork.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination required. Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads are also essential aspects of this role.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Reliability, team player, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this position.
