About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at Naseer and Associates Accountants Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including budget variances and cash flow statements.
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
    • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Area of Specialization
    • Accounting and bookkeeping with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent written communication skills.
    • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
    • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
    • Fluent in English language.
