Property Restoration Technician

Overview of the Contents Technician Role
The Contents Technician is tasked with managing personal belongings in both residential and commercial environments, operating under both guidance and independently. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including packing, transporting, and deodorizing items, among others. A keen eye for detail, outstanding customer service skills, and strict adherence to safety regulations are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal belongings in residential and commercial environments
- Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintenance
- Assist in developing content scopes of work
- Identify items that can be salvaged while providing top-notch customer service
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company regulations
- Communicate proactively about job site conditions
- Engage in training programs to enhance skills
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of best practices in the restoration industry
- Familiarity with chemical cleaning agents
- Preference for candidates with IICRC certification
- Experience in construction, restoration, or insurance sectors
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift various weights frequently
- Capability to navigate tight spaces
- Fit testing and occasional work at heights
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
