Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations within various settings, including commercial establishments and dining facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train is essential; equivalent experience is also considered.
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train cleaning personnel or facilitate their training.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the cleaning team.
Support InitiativesFor Newcomers and Refugees
  • Engage in community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs, including housing and transportation.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and training for social and labor market integration.
  • Support newcomers and refugees in recognizing foreign credentials.
For Youths
  • Provide tailored on-the-job training opportunities for youth.
For Mature Workers
  • Participate in initiatives that support mature workers.
  • Provide training to staff to foster a welcoming environment for mature workers.
  • Offer mentorship and networking opportunities for mature employees.
For Visible Minorities
  • Engage in programs that support visible minority groups.
