Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team as a Temp PT at the York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in teaching and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
- Utilize universal design and differentiation techniques to promote student learning
- Maintain a safe, caring, and healthy classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and achievement
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education
- Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
- Experience with Social Emotional Learning and classroom management practices
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative model and adapt to changing circumstances
