Job Title: Route Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Route Driver to join our team at Lindsay Cleaners and Dyers. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail
