Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service quality, striving for resolution on the first interaction.
  • Maintain a proactive approach, questioning existing practices to enhance underwriting services.
  • Evaluate data, pricing, and coverage options, customizing solutions to fit the unique requirements of Ovation clients.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding coverage and premiums while ensuring adherence to underwriting standards and profitability.
  • Prepare quotes for new business; manage endorsements, renewals, and inspections.
  • Request and assess reports, including claims histories and driver records.
  • Utilize multiple applications simultaneously, such as Broker Portal, property evaluation tools, Salesforce, and other web-based platforms.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Demonstrate integrity while representing Ovation to our broker partners and collaborating with team members and leadership.
  • Continuously enhance your soft skills and industry knowledge through various learning opportunities.

Your Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in high-value property insurance.
  • CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation completed or in progress.
  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships with brokers through professional interactions.
  • Strong listening skills to understand broker and customer needs effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners to enhance the broker and customer experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in data analysis and report review.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent time management skills, a proactive attitude, and demonstrated productivity in a hybrid work environment.
