Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Production Planning Inventory Control department as the Manager, PPIC. This key role will be responsible for all aspects pertaining to production planning and scheduling, raw material inventory levels and planning, as well as short- and long-term capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a professional supply chain team.
  • Develop and publish a production schedule to balance supply with customer forecasts, ensuring alignment with internal customers and operational capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic thinker and problem solver in all aspects of the role, continuously evaluating KPIs, recommend improvements and drive performance.
  • Manage production reporting tools and reports, including Production Efficiencies, Usage, Yield Variance & Downtime Reporting.
  • Maintain SAP master data: BOMs, Routings for production, finished good scheduling and manage the Production Receipts and Goods Issues.
  • Serve external CPG customers efficiently by maintaining strong relationships and interacting across various levels of their organization to anticipate and meet their requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with raw material vendors to ensure reliable supply and manage potential disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/management and/or related Industrial/Operations Management degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate in group settings.
