The Instructional Designer for Physician Leadership is a pivotal role within the Medical Affairs sector, focusing on the creation and enhancement of educational materials for medical professionals. This position is accountable to the Director of Physician Learning, Development, and Support, and collaborates closely with the Manager of Learning and Development.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Design and develop innovative learning content and curricula tailored for medical staff.
- Utilize a strong foundation in instructional design and e-learning development to create engaging educational experiences.
- Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure effective delivery of educational programs.
- Oversee multiple instructional design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
We invite applications from individuals who possess:
- An undergraduate degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- A post-academic Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Instructional Design or Adult Education.
- A minimum of three years of experience in instructional design, preferably within a healthcare context.
- Familiarity with current trends in instructional design and online learning.
- Experience with the LEADS framework in healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in digital literacy and various instructional technologies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and virtually.
- A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of instructional design.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 75 hours of work bi-weekly. The compensation for this role is competitive, with an hourly rate reflective of the responsibilities and qualifications.
