Key Responsibilities

  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging clients in activities and promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as collecting specimens and performing light housekeeping duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to travel to different locations. You will be working in a non-smoking environment and may have the opportunity to work in a variety of urban and rural settings.
