The Opportunity:
Accoravillage is seeking a motivated Water and Wastewater Engineer to contribute to our projects through the design and implementation of water and sewer systems, including facilities such as pump stations, treatment plants, and distribution networks. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set to manage a variety of projects across both rural and urban settings. You will be responsible for developing pre-design reports and executing detailed designs for diverse water and wastewater facilities. This role demands strategic insight and a commitment to enhancing our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate water and sewer infrastructure, including pump stations and treatment facilities.
- Analyze water distribution and treatment systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and engage with clients to identify opportunities for integrated services.
- Supervise junior designers and drafters in creating detailed design documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with Development Site Servicing Plan requirements is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the relevant provinces.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of provincial standards and regulations for utilities and infrastructure.
- Experience in delivering projects within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to maintain client satisfaction and successfully manage infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater systems.
