Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Auto Country. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
  • Material Movement: Move products and materials within the warehouse or to other areas of the facility.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products and materials.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and performing cycle counts as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products and materials for damage or defects and report any issues to management.
Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
