Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shell Canada. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Allocate sales responsibilities to team members, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and that sales targets are met.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new sales associates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
  • Authorize Payments and Merchandise Returns: Process payments and authorize returns, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
  • Order and Manage Inventory: Place orders for merchandise, manage inventory levels, and ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and prepare reports to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure that customers leave the store satisfied.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
