Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Cooper's. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating a Dock Stocker forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Dock Stocker forklift to move materials within the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
  • Safely handle products and perform order picking as needed
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Requirements
  • Experience and a Licensed Dock Stocker Operating a forklift
  • Proficiency in order picking and utilizing warehouse management systems
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record
  • Familiar with WMS systems, and good working knowledge of MS Office (excel)
  • Team-oriented individual able to work constructively and cooperatively with team members as well as with other departments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to conduct the root cause analysis and proactively analyze findings and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment are essential
  • Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing processes
  • Strong computer skills
