Position Overview

Aroma East Indian Cuisine Inc. is seeking a dedicated Culinary Support Staff member to assist in our kitchen operations. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our culinary environment.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory and usage.
  • Portion and package food items for service.
  • Ensure the kitchen and all work surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning supplies.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in various storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
  • Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash promptly.
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
