KA Labour Contractors Ltd is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of plants in a greenhouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plant Care: Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides to prevent pest and disease damage.
- Pruning and Grafting: Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth and development.
- Soil Preparation: Mix and prepare soils to ensure optimal growing conditions for plants.
- Planting and Transplanting: Plant bulbs and seeds, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to maintain a healthy and diverse plant population.
- Fertilization: Apply fertilizers to promote plant growth and development.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Report signs of insect or disease damage to ensure prompt action is taken to prevent further damage.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the work area and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
