About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Editor to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Communications, Marketing and Growth (CMG) team, you will play a critical role in developing and publishing thought leadership content that showcases our expertise and thought leadership in the middle market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, research reports, white papers, and promotional copy, in partnership with industry analysts, LOB/industry leaders, and the CMG team.
  • Determine the most effective distribution and packaging strategies for our content across various platforms, including our internal and external websites, blog, and social media channels.
  • Manage the editorial calendar for assigned industry/LOB teams, working closely with the core CMG team to ensure timely and effective publication of content.
  • Collaborate closely with industry analysts and LOB/industry leaders to stay up-to-date on relevant issues affecting the industry/LOB and how they relate to middle market businesses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in English or Journalism (required)
  • Five to 10 years of reporting and/or editing experience in a deadline-driven environment, such as a national news organization, daily newspaper, trade publication, or corporate newsroom (required)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with published clips (required)
  • Strong knowledge of AP style (required)
  • Bilingual English/French (preferred)
  • Knowledge of WordPress, electronic publishing, and Excel (preferred)
