Position: German Localization Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate video game titles in German, pinpointing linguistic, visual, and cultural discrepancies
  • Identify translation, contextual, and cultural inaccuracies in gaming content
  • Document errors comprehensively in the bug-tracking system or translation files
  • Propose enhancements to improve translated materials
  • Follow established terminology guidelines
  • Work alongside the team to address cross-language challenges
  • Comply with directives from the Test Lead
  • Identify and escalate issues to the Test Lead as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in German
  • Experience with mobile, PC, and console gaming platforms
  • Strong enthusiasm for video games
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional proficiency in English
