As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of our Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements. You will also be responsible for bookkeeping general ledger transactions in Sage and/or Netsuite, as well as performing monthly expense variance analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for reconciling bank, credit cards, and inter-company accounts, as well as assisting with Balance sheet accounts reconciliations. You will also be responsible for assisting with HST/GST, PST, EHT, WSIB, and Payroll tax returns. Furthermore, you will maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions. You will also assist and coordinate with higher level management for special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a University Degree/College Diploma in Accounting, as well as a minimum of 3 years of general ledger accounting experience. The candidate will also have knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Additionally, the candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout our organization. The candidate will also be computer literate, with effective working skills of QuickBooks/Sage/NetSuite, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Furthermore, the candidate will be able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently, and will be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. The candidate will also have good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. Sage and/or Netsuite experience is preferred.
