Social Media Marketing Internship

As a Social Media Marketing Intern at Freedom Mobile, you will have the opportunity to acquire practical experience in overseeing social media channels, aiding in content development, and enhancing the overall social media approach.
This position is perfect for an enthusiastic and innovative individual currently pursuing a degree or diploma in marketing, digital media, or a related discipline. You will collaborate closely with the social media team to grasp industry best practices and refine your abilities in content production, community engagement, and social media analytics.
This role operates in a hybrid work model, requiring two days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in crafting and implementing social media initiatives that align with Freedom Mobile's branding and marketing goals.
- Produce captivating and relevant social media content, including videos, TikToks, carousel posts, and stories.
- Schedule posts using Meta Business Suite and other social media tools.
- Monitor social media channels for competitive insights, emerging trends, and cultural events.
- Engage with comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to uncover areas for enhancement.
- Support the team in brainstorming and executing social media contests and promotional activities.
- Stay informed about social media trends and best practices.
- Assist the team with various administrative and campaign-related tasks as needed.
What You Will Contribute:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or university-level program in marketing, social media, digital media, or a related field.
- Strong passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with content editing tools such as CapCut or in-platform tools like TikTok/Instagram.
- Familiarity with trending social topics, including sports, pop culture, and global events.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, LinkedIn).
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Availability to commit for a minimum of eight months, with the potential for a full-time role extending to one year.
This is a compensated internship opportunity.
