Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, pre-cook, and cook food products as directed by management.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen equipment after use, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, label, date, store, and rotate stock in appropriate storage areas.
  • Customer Service: May take orders over the counter and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Control: Count inventory as directed and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma; Culinary education an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of culinary experience.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certification.
  • Licensing: Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming Workers License.
  • Skills: POS and cash handling experience (if necessary), ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations, good organizational skills, professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
