Kitchen Operations Manager

At Shoeless Joes, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen operations to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate and manage ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory decisions.
- Prepare food order summaries for our chef to ensure that our menu offerings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is adequately staffed and that we can meet our service standards.
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide our team to achieve our goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
