About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
