About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Handyman to join our team at McCall's School of Cake Decoration. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
    • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
    • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
    • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
  • Security and Safety
    • Perform safety and security checks
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • Experience an asset
    • Language
