Culinary Operations Supervisor

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor at Gon Sushi, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation team. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary standards are consistently met while fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
This position is based in a dynamic restaurant setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement of food and kitchen supplies
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols
- Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are upheld
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Compile and submit detailed reports
- Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's culinary offerings
- Supervise the assembly of food trays
- Oversee the delivery of food trolleys
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team
