We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Orgen Nutraceuticals Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Plan and control budget and expenditures, and oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
- Inventory Management: Plan and organize daily operations, including the management of contracts and the review and processing of claims against suppliers.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Business Development: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
