We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Feedback Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.
- Site Preparation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Woodworking: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality construction components.
- Project Management: Prepare tenders and quotations, supervise other workers, and estimate costs and materials for construction projects.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders through efficient communication and teamwork.
- Written Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports, proposals, and other written materials to support construction projects.
- Judgement and Decision-Making: Make informed decisions and take calculated risks to ensure project success and quality.
- Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality in all aspects of the job.
- Accessibility: Provide physical accessibility accommodations to ensure equal access to construction sites and facilities.
