Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance
    • Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
    • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
    • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Estimation and Reporting
    • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
    • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Customer Service
    • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Physical Capabilities
