Electronics Technician Position

NÖORD TECHNOLOGIES is in search of a skilled Electronics Technician to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Electronics Technician will be integral to the test development sector, responsible for assembling electronic components, crafting test fixtures with software integration, and executing tests on prototypes. Maintenance of devices will also be a critical aspect of this role.

Core Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with engineers within the testing department
  • Working alongside the research and development team
  • Cooperating with electronic product assembly manufacturers for installation, upkeep, and technical support
  • Installing and evaluating electronic systems
  • Conducting tests on electronic testing stations and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Engaging with various stakeholders throughout the process
  • Documenting technical details including sketches, technical sheets, and maintenance guidelines
  • Maintaining records of electronic maintenance interventions and ensuring they are current

Qualifications

  • Ability to define interventions on electronic equipment per technical specifications
  • Skill in diagnosing malfunctions and pinpointing defective components
  • Experience working with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in using electronic instrumentation and testing tools
  • Familiarity with software for electronic design
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic circuits and schematics
  • Capability to read and create electronic technical drawings
  • Expertise in analog and digital electronic hardware design
  • Hands-on skills in soldering and wiring
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Possession of a College Diploma in Electronics Technology
  • Fluency in French and intermediate proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with computer tools and programming languages
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design software (such as ORCAD and Solidworks)
  • Ability to update technical reference libraries or databases
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly processes, components, and electronic device technologies
