ROLE OVERVIEWThe Isolation Valve Solutions Manager plays a crucial role in driving industrial success by comprehensively understanding client objectives, pinpointing areas for support, and aligning our offerings to tackle their safety and operational challenges. This is accomplished through optimizing energy, production, and asset management, alongside maintenance initiatives and post-sales support to ensure lasting customer satisfaction. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, market stakeholders, customers, and internal sales teams to develop and promote the products, services, and solutions within their purview. This position is vital for stimulating business growth, empowering sales teams, and delivering outstanding value to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance the growth of the product, service, and solution portfolio through innovative sales strategies, tools, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Leader to establish growth objectives, industry strategies, and operational plans.
- Formulate market penetration strategies, sales tactics, and marketing requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and partners to implement growth initiatives.
- Work in tandem with internal and external sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise and advanced knowledge of isolation valve solutions to support sales teams in proposal development.
- Ensure alignment with customer needs, assess opportunities, and aid in crafting successful proposals.
- Engage in consultative pre-sales activities and develop a compelling vision for customers.
- Create and prepare training materials.
- Identify suitable channels for training delivery.
- Design and produce eLearning modules and videos on specific topics.
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with clients to ensure training solutions meet their business objectives.
- Develop new programs and training materials aligned with business goals and strategies.
- Offer product support, coaching, and training to the sales team.
- Provide leadership and training on new business lines and services to management and staff.
- Develop a training strategy that aligns with business objectives and critical success factors.
- Oversee the seamless transition of sales to execution, ensuring clear objectives and scope.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction by delivering promised value, managing relationships, and validating business outcomes.
- Maintain a robust and equitable pipeline for initiatives, contributing to the financial success of the Business Unit.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a DEC in Engineering Technologies (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial sales experience in a B2B context.
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Understanding of industrial automation products and services.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Knowledge of the heavy industry market in Eastern Canada.
- Fluency in French and English (Advanced).
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate knowledge of social media software.
