Job Summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Contract Manager to oversee the contractual aspects of two distinct wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial and contractual support, risk management, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial and Contractual Support: Provide expert support on financial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Risk Management: Analyze contract variations, claims, and initiate and review written correspondence related to the program, minimizing potential risks and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Contract Administration: Guide the project team on measurement principles, review interim and final measurements, and finalize the Contractor's payment certificates, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

  • Cost Planning and Control: Assist in evaluating claims, ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements, and maintain accurate records of project costs and expenditures.

  • Record Keeping: Audit payments to Contractors, monitor final cost estimates, and maintain comprehensive records of project activities and transactions.

  • Claim Settlements: Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements, ensuring fair and timely resolution of disputes.

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare detailed financial statements for monthly reports, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information on project progress and financial performance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure thorough and timely contract management practices, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project success.

  • Professional Notices: Draft high-quality contractual notices and presentations related to specific contractual topics, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders.

  • Negotiation: Participate as a member of the negotiating team, representing the company's interests and ensuring fair and equitable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years of demonstrable experience in all aspects of construction contracts, with a strong background in contract administration, risk management, and financial support.

  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, and proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.
