Are you a driven and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding position? Canada Post is currently in search of a post office assistant who prioritizes customer satisfaction while delivering services at the counter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promoting and selling postal services and products to both businesses and the general public;
- Accurately sorting, distributing, and processing mail;
- Assisting customers by providing necessary information and forms;
- Addressing delivery and service-related concerns to ensure prompt and effective resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or equivalent qualifications, or relevant experience in business administration;
- Experience in customer interaction within retail or service sectors, including handling sales and cash transactions;
- Familiarity with basic accounting practices or postal operations;
- Physical capability to lift mail containers up to 50 lbs, maneuver boxes, sort mail, and maintain standing positions for extended periods;
- Availability for temporary on-call assignments.
