Your Responsibilities:- Developing and following site-specific health and safety protocols to minimize risks to yourself, clients, and the public.
- Identifying and documenting potential site hazards and incidents.
- Maintaining thorough field notes and collecting soil and groundwater samples.
- Conducting fieldwork such as groundwater monitoring, data collection, soil sampling, and supervising subcontractors.
- Overseeing remedial contractors and managing excavation and waste tracking.
- Coordinating project documentation and equipment for field operations.
- Managing project-related field notes and assisting with report preparation.
- Performing tasks efficiently and accurately while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Diploma in environmental or geological technology.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in soil and groundwater sampling.
- Willingness to work in field settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Valid driver's license.
