Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious driver to operate our fleet of trucks and transport goods across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive our trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of our trucks to ensure they are in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Communicate with Central Dispatch: Receive and relay information to our central dispatch team to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.
  • Record Cargo Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
  • Tarping and Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of our cargo by properly tarping and securing it during transport.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: A valid Class 1 or A driver's license is required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
  • Certificates and Licenses: A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
