Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Lago Pizza and Pasta. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that are essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our kitchen operations.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic restaurant setting, contributing to a vibrant culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes, ensuring high standards of quality.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions by preparing appropriate dishes.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
Transportation and Travel

Having personal transportation is necessary for this role.

Work Conditions
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure is required.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 36 to 40 hours per week.
