About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Onu Family. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Transportation and Errands: Transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, as well as run errands as needed.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of children at all times, administering first aid and CPR as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
