Job Summary

RBC's Technology and Operations division is seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Functions Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with partners across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Systems analysis across multiple projects and priorities that affect Enterprise Performance Management
  • Analyze and Document Business and Functional requirements for various enhancement requests
  • Lead and Facilitate collaborative sessions with business stakeholders to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
  • Assess the current and future states and perform gap analysis
  • Interact and coordinate with various business stakeholder groups to work towards a common goal and ensure alignment with goals
  • Adopt Agile methodologies to enable periodic implementations
  • Construct data flow diagrams, business and system context diagrams
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure full understanding and proper execution of requirements in a timely manner
  • Provide hands-on support during various cycles of testing, including Functional Testing, Systems Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience serving as a business analyst supporting the delivery of finance solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study
  • Agile experience, including writing user stories, managing JIRA items, and input into backlog prioritization process
  • Experience in data analysis, business workflow, functional specifications, and system enhancement requests
  • Experience working with SQL to retrieve and analyze data
  • Proficient experience with software development lifecycle process and IT terms and methods
